Tabloid Newspapers – Am I Guilty Of Encouraging Them ??
Yes I probably am. I admit I buy The Sun & Mirror every day. Today’s front page of the Mirror has pictures of Kate McCann as a child at her first Holy Communion and Gerry in his football strip from years ago plus stories of The McCanns’s.
The papers are full of ‘sensational Journalism’ at the moment regarding The McCanns and by buying & reading them I suppose I am contributing to the wave of hysteria currently sweeping the country quicker than an outbreak of Foot & Mouth Disease. The McCanns are being portryed as somewhere between Fred & Rosemary West & The Moors Murdererers at the moment. Did you know Newspapers can print what they like as long as anything they consider ‘dodgey’ is in quoation marks.
I am trying to keep an open mind about all this and hope to god they are Guilty of only Neglect and sheer stupidity.
Also is anyone (Police & Public) still actively searching for Maddy.
The papers have been very sneaky over here.
What they do is say.
“And the smears continue with Portugese press saying …….”
And then proceeding to reel off all the horrible things about the McCanns while appearing whiter than white themselves since they were just quoting the other papers.
The British press needs to look at themselves once this is over with.
