Important Facts About Canine Cushing’s Disease

pediatric heart disease question…..?
What is the most common heart desease in children(10 years of age)
That has a syptom of fever and rapid pulse or either one!
This is a delicate matter, you should not jump to the conclusion of heart disease if these are the only two symptoms. The normal heart rate in a 10 yo is around 95 beats per minute. If the child is running a fever this can affect the heart rate by speeding it up. You should take the child to the doctor to find out what is causing the fever first. The doctor will listen to the heart and will be able to tell if there is something more. If there are more symptoms then I would dig deeper, but for fever and increased HR dont worry just yet.

So I am 99.9% sure I have Cushings disease. I have the following symptoms:
Tired and weak
Rounded face
Buffalo bump
Mood disorder and anxiety issues
Loss of period for a year and a half
High blood pressure
Stretch marks along arms back and abdomen
Huge stomach compared to the rest of my body
Easily bruising
I went from being 110 pounds in 6th grade to 226 pounds in 10th grade. I EAT NORMALLY.
So now that you know that I have the following questions about treatment
1.How long will it take for the doctors to get me surgery?
2.Will this bizarre weight come off and how long (I am really trying to not be impatient but these symptoms REALLY affect my appearence)
3.Will I ever be able to come off the mood stabilizers and anti anxiety medications?
4.How long does it take to heal
5.What do I do if my doctor doesnt find anything the first time I KNOW this is what it is almost 100% sure. Should I get a new doctor an endocrinologist?
Thanks alot! Take care
Some of the symptoms you have can be side effects to the tablets you are already taking. Go back to your doc and ask him to check.

Where does the disease ‘ttp’ come from?
My mother just died a few days ago in the hospital from a blood disease called ‘ttp’. Apparently there were blood clots forming all over her body and even though treatement was working, she died suddenly of an annurism. I understand everything about the death, but she only was diagnosed a week before she died and i was wondering, where could it have came from??
The exact cause of thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura is unknown.
Thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura (TTP) is a rare, serious blood disease. Major symptoms may include a severe decrease in the number of blood platelets (thrombocytopenia), abnormal destruction of red blood cells (hemolytic anemia), and disturbances in the nervous system. Kidney dysfunction and fever are also common.
I am very sorry for the loss of your mother. My prayers are with you and your family.
