Crohn Disease an Autoimmune Chronic Disease- Remedies to control it

Crohn’s disease is an autoimmune chronic disease in which the individual’s immune attacks its own intestines causing inflammation. Often the affected part is the final leg of the ileum or small intestine, although the disease can occur anywhere in the tract.

The exact origin of the disease is unknown, but factors known genetic character and increase environmental risk. This evil is encompassed within the group of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD, IBD), which is also part of ulcerative colitis.

The three most common types of Crohn’s response to the affected area of the intestines:
Ileal
ileocolonic
Colonic

Alternative Names of Crohn’s:
* Ileocolitis granulomatous
* Ileitis
* Inflammatory bowel disease
*Regional enteritis
* Segmental Colitis

Depending on the site of inflammation in Crohn’s disease is classified:
* Ileocolitis, is the most common form, affects the lower small intestine (ileum) and large intestine (colon).
* Enteritis Crohn’s affects the small intestine in general,
* Ileitis, which affects the final portion of the ileum or small intestine.
* Gastro duodenal Crohn’s disease, which causes inflammation in the stomach and first part of the small intestine called the duodenum.
* Jejunoileitis, which causes patches of inflammation in the upper half of the small intestine (jejunum)
* Colitis Crohn’s (granulomatous), which affects the colon.

The disease is characterized by periods of activity (flares) and inactivity (remission). These periods vary between patients in remission some tough years, but in other ongoing outbreaks may occur. The reference phases are characterized by the absence of symptoms; while in the phases of activity occur predominantly abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, obstruction and fever, loss of appetite and weight loss.

Crohn’s disease symptoms:
Patients with Crohn’s disease symptoms can be very variable. A few suffer almost no discomfort, a few others have severe and continuous discomfort, and most are between two extremes, with symptoms that come and go, generally improve with treatment.

Depending on its location of disease, symptoms may vary. People with small bowel involvement, the most common, are especially diarrhea, abdominal pain and what is called general symptoms: weakness, weight loss, and lack of appetite. In the case of colon involvement, will prevail diarrhea, sometimes bloody.

It also determines the type of disease symptoms. Patients with inflammatory symptoms often have more pain and diarrhea, while those who have symptoms of narrowing, have more pain, and may even bowel obstruction.

It is important to remember that Crohn’s can affect the anus, producing lesions of type fistula, abscess or ulcer, with associated discomfort.

Children with Crohn’s may experience delays in school performance, sexual development and growth.

Crohn’s disease Treatment:
Today, Crohn’s disease is not curable, but controllable, and most people can do a normal life. The goal of treatment is to prevent further outbreaks or reduce the duration of which they arise.
Alternative treatment diet: low-carb diets are based on the intake of specific carbohydrates and non-complex, which could be effective, more cases of ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s, although not in all cases. Crohn’s disease being one enfermdad autoimmune, the body attacks itself. But why? According to study this is because the immune system mistakes the body tissue structures of bacteria and viruses. Many of these bacteria feed on starch (a carbohydrate complex). Therefore eliminating much of diet and certain complex sugars such as lactose, these bacteria. Then the immune system becomes less aggressive and not so strongly attacks the intestines of the digestive system. For example, in the case of rheumatic autoimmune disease that usually causes intestinal inflammation and Crohn’s disease, is considering the possibility that the bacteria in question.  Anyway, in the case of Crohn’s disease is often recommended to patients to avoid foods that will upset them. More specifically, if there is intestinal stricture not to take too much fiber. Another possible treatment is a diet which is based on only take high-calorie milkshakes as ensure, after a period of about 2 months the patient goes into remission and recovered the body mass, the symptoms disappear and the likelihood of returning to have another outbreak in the short term is minimal.

Herbal Treatment for Crohn’s Disease:
Boswellia and Ashwagandha are well known anti-inflammatory herbs. They have been shown effective in treating conditions such as crohn’s disease.

Does hemorrhoid affect the shape of your feces?

If someone has hemorrhoid, internal or external, can it affect the shape of your feces? Making it not cylindrical?

Or it’s caused by other ?

No, I don’t think it will change the shape of anything coming out.

I had serious during my pregnancies. My ob gyn gave me a prescription because over the counter meds did not help. I wish I new the name of it. It came in a small metal container with an applicator. The substance was a white foam. It was very easy to use and it did not have an odor. Also, it wasn’t oily and didn’t stain.

A Digestive Disease

: Celiac disease?

This is for a science project on digestive diseases. I had finished my project on peptic ulcers but then I found out someone else in the class had chosen the same disease so the teacher told us that one of us had to choose something else. The other person had only printed out some stuff from the internet. I was the unfortunate one who was told to do my project on another disease. A bit unfair don’t you think?
Anyway…

1. What are the causes of celiac disease? I know that it’s genetic and even though some people may not show symptoms, it can be triggered by stress, pregnancy, , infection, serious injury, childbirth, etc. but is there anything else which can cause it?

2. Are there any treatments for it apart from avoiding food containing gluten altogether (which is more a method of prevention than treatment) ?

These two points are the parts of my project I am unsure about.
Thanks in advance :)

Celiac is a genetic, autoimmune disease. Exposure to gluten stimulates your immune .
You can have the genes, but not the disease, it seems to need to be triggered. There are many theories about how the disease is triggered, but there does seem to be a trigger. Basically a stress on the body, or eating gluten too early, or not breast feeding long enough, or even viral infections have been blamed. For me personally, it was after my son was born that I first noticed symptoms.
No, there is no cure for celiac, it is hard wired into our systems. The only “treatment” is to avoid gluten or anything contaminated with gluten (e.g. most oatmeal). There was talk about maybe an enzyme that would allow people to eat some gluten (like lactase pills can sometimes help people digest lactose who do not produce their own lactase) but nothing has really happened with it. I personally would never use it, there would be no gaurantee that the enzyme could really break down that 33 amino acid chain that is gluten before it hit my intestine and triggers a reaction!
Hope this helps and good luck on your report! Here is one of my fav websites for celiac education:

What could be the reason for my non stop nausea and problems? I have had this for a yea.r?

I am not preggo and It can’t be food poisoning. I did have food poisoning a year ago when this all started, but it can’t last a year. I was diagnosed with irritable bowel but that still doesn’t make since because the average person with this disorder has spasms and cramps or unfinished bowels and I have way more symptoms than don’t relate to IBS. I have non stop nausea and it is driving me crazy. I had my gallbladder removed in january but I don’t see how that could be the reason for my nausea because I have the nausea months before the . I have went to 3 G.I. doctors and they can’t seem to figure it out and it is very frustrating.

What other common disorders, could cause this non stop nausea?

Neurological problems can cause nausea, so can inner-ear problems (though those are usually accompanied by dizziness) and maybe some types of chronic infections. I would try seeing a neurologist and then perhaps an ENT specialist.
