Does anyone knows why mangos are rotting from the inside without any indication from the outside on the tree.?
I have a mango tree approx 10 yeras old that I have grown from a seed. Every year it bears a lot of fruit, but the mangos are rotting from the inside while on the tree. The outside has a beautiful color and doesn’t indicate that the fruit is in distress. The bark of the tree close to the ground is all cracked. I know that the tree must have some sort of a disease. How can I treat the tree and what do I need to use. Any recommendation is greatly appreciated.
I know nothing about mangoes, but I do know that apple trees can have the same problem. People I know have found there is an insect problem with their apples. Have you gone to a garden center to explain the problem?
