What do you think the U.S. would be like if the Europeans didn’t settle here?
For those who don’t know: Europeans brought over new animals and crops that didn’t exist in the new world before. With that, they also brought over new diseases, killing almost 90% of the people (Native Americans) that lived here before they settled.
What language do you think we would speak now? Do you think we would be mostly of native american descent instead of european?

you think we lived in squalor before your kind got here? no! in fact you are the ones who BROUGHT the squalor here with you! i notice you all conveniently forget that the whole reason everyone wanted to come here was because europe was a big sewer at the time with filth and diseases like plague and frequent famines. we didn’t have that here. we actually bathed regularly, something we had to teach YOU how to do. the poverty some of our people live in is forced on them by YOU so you can live in luxury. never forget that. your government is still stealing from us so YOU can live a better life. each and every american benefits from the past and present injustices done to indigenous people here.

and we were NOT less advanced then europeans at the time. have you forgotten who had to teach whom how to survive here? you know what our biggest weakness was? we TRUSTED you. period. you took advantage of that and cheated and stole and took what you wanted through deceit and force. there were no great battles here…no war…this country was built on lies and broken promises. now you get all pissy because today we DON’T trust your government. well neither should YOU!
70% of the world’s food crops today were native to the americas. europeans benefited from those too and it allowed your populations in europe to grow quickly since you didn’t have to suffer frequent famines any more.
some of you act like you were sooo superior to everyone. you weren’t superior to no one, you just were better at lying and cheating. i get really tired of the revisionist who want to excuse themselves from any responsibility for what happened here. we are forced to live with the consequences of the past and the present…you can just live with the knowledge that you are benefiting from them. i won’t ask you to feel guilty. i don’t think most of you are capable.
