There are many frauds in the world. You just have to make up your own mind about what to think of this one. I believe that he can be enlightened (he would not be able to do any of of what he has done if he was not), but rather than hate on him (he’s just a kid in human sense) why not just see that he is teaching us all a lesson. He doesn’t have to be Buddha, or anyone else. He learned to become the way he is somehow, it’s not just magic or whatever people think it is.
If your wife did all that without caring for herself, then some may consider her to be one, some may not. In that case, we could all die saints if we really tried hard enough. Most people will not, though.
